The opportunities we have here are endless not just in Hospitality but Leisure, Education, Cruise Ships & Workplace design too. We are a small company that can really push the business in any direction. We work collaboratively, therefore as part of a team of 18 you have the unique opportunity to mould this position to what you want it to be. Unlike large corporations, which can be restrictive in the design flexibility, our design scope is very exciting as we have built up a great network in the UK and across Europe of factories, fabricators, upholsterers, carpentry, specialist workshops in stone, glass, and metal work.

We have lots of exciting plans including further overseas growth, augmented, virtual reality which we have recently invested in and further growing our team.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Working alongside our Senior Account Managers & clients
  • Design 3D furniture models & produce accurate visuals as per the client’s brief
  • Use Sketchfab - 3D modelling for VR
  • Produce detailed, technical working production drawings for client sign off & manufacture
  • Liaise with clients and workshops
  • Manage and co-ordinate projects with the sales & production team
  • Photography & Video work for promotion on our website, campaigns & social media
  • Working alongside our marketing team
  • Assist with adverts, PR, producing look books & helping with the design of events
  • Manage & Mentor Design Intern’s



Skills and Experience required:

• Previous experience working as a Furniture or CAD Designer
• A good understanding of all types of manufacturing
• Previous experience managing a team
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite
• Proficient in Rhino 3D or similar
• Proficient in Vray for Rhino or similar
• Knowledge of Sketchfab (3D modelling for VR) preferable
• Problem-solving skills, with the ability to solve technical challenges
• A broad knowledge of furniture construction
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Must be fluent in spoken and written English
• Furniture Design experience – ideally commercial furniture.

The salary TBC dependent on experience and ability.

Start date ASAP
