Made entirely from recycled materials, SilicaStone is a unique, hard wearing material used for table tops and tiles.
A sustainable terrazzo-like material created from 100% recycled waste glass and ceramics, SIlicaStone is an ethical material with the feel of stone and a unique character due to the different materials used within each piece. Ideal for both interior and exterior projects, this ceramic surface is both frost-resistant and UV resistant so it won't lose colour over time.
SilicaStone is supplied honed as standard, but can also be additionally sealed to further protect the porous nature of the surface. Despite being porous, SilicaStone Terrazzo is stain resistant given the type of materials used making it a great choice for hospitality venues.
+ Please note that as SilicaStone is handmade and kiln-fired a degree of batch colour variation is to be expected. For more information please contact our team.
+ As a ceramic material SilicaStone is vulnerable to knocks if not installed appropriately. For busy commercial settings, we recommend the use of a support frame to protect the edges from accidental knocks and damage.
