Resolving the need for elegantly designed stackable furniture, the Surpil chair was the first of its kind to use steel tubing to create a stackable frame. The ergonomic qualities for the chair combined with its chic French styling mean the Surpil succeeded where other designs in the 1920’s fell short.
Available still today, this famous French design now includes the option for a plywood seat in various finishes as opposed to the traditional chrome aluminium seat. Each seat features punctured detailing, please see finishes for more information.
