Supporting the tabletop is a bespoke base made up of sturdy 100mm diameter ash column legs and an 18mm plywood top fixing plate, ensuring excellent structural integrity. This robust construction makes the Calvene side table ideal for high-traffic hospitality environments such as boutique hotels, modern cafés, and premium lounges. Its versatile design and hard-wearing finish provide a stylish yet practical solution for commercial interiors seeking a balance between aesthetic appeal and everyday performance.
Its top features a unique 'squound' shape — a blend of square and round — measuring 450mm across and standing 500mm high. Constructed from 50mm MDF with an ash veneer surface, it is edged with 15x50mm solid ash timber, finished with a 15mm half-radius profile that adds softness and sophistication to the overall design.
