The Groove side chair is the result of a complex manufacturing process adapted from the automotive industry. Using a superplastic forming technique, aluminium is heated and blown into a mould to create intricate curves that cannot be achieved through conventional methods. The chair is then precision-cut by robotic lasers, ensuring a flawless finish. This advanced engineering makes the Groove both robust and remarkably light, successfully combining sculptural beauty with everyday functionality.
