The high, winged back of the Ikkoku sofa is not only a design aesthetic to attract attention, but also a practical solution to supplying privacy in busy environments. Set upon rounded beech wood legs the hard lines of the seat are softened, and the upholstery can be changed. On the back is a structural knot which adds another element of interest.
