Wood veneer is a cost effective solution with added plywood edge for a contemporary, wood-focused design.
Wood Veneer table tops are an economical alternative to solid wood, made from a thin sheet of wood to maintain the wood look and touch, then bonded to the table core. To achieve the plywood edge, the veneer is combined with a plywood core that is left exposed to create the edge, finished with a polish. The plywood is available in a natural beech finish as standard with a choice of edge profiles in rounded, chamfered or flat.
If you require a specific stain for the veneer top we can stain to match - please note however there is a 15% tolerance with stains as veneer reacts differently to solid wood when stained.
