Aerospace - Flightline Kitchen & Bar

Flightline Kitchen + Bar at Aerospace Bristol is a newly redeveloped café, welcoming all visitors, not just those exploring the museum. Set within a Grade II-listed aircraft hangar, the space draws inspiration from Bristol’s rich aviation heritage. Its name pays homage to the original factory canteen that served workers building iconic aircraft such as the Bristol Britannia and Concorde, later becoming a hub for Airbus staff at Filton.

We had the privilege of transforming the interior, carefully selecting furniture and finishes that complement the café’s historic setting while creating a contemporary, welcoming atmosphere. Pieces such as the Wynn Side Chair, Amber Chair, Dome Bar Stool, Ikon Dining Table, and Terrazzo Effect Laminate Table Tops, paired with the Tierras Square Table Bases, were chosen for their quality, style, and durability. Each element works in harmony to upscale the décor, enhance the overall ambience, and make the space feel purposeful, comfortable, and refined.

The design celebrates and preserves the venue’s heritage, reflecting its industrial and aviation past, while adding modern elegance and functionality. Every piece of furniture contributes to a sense of place, creating a café that not only serves exceptional food and drinks but also offers an uplifting and memorable experience for visitors. Flightline Kitchen + Bar now stands as a destination in its own right, where history, style, and hospitality converge seamlessly.
