Greenwich Student Union

With our headoffice in Greenwich, it was a pleasure to work with Greenwich University to help bring the Greenwich Students’ Union space to life.

The aim was to create an interior that really works for student life. This meant, somewhere you can study, catch up with friends, or collaborate on projects, all while feeling modern, welcoming, and full of energy.

We couldn't be happier with the end result, which is a flexible, functional space that looks great and feels easy to use.

At the heart of the renovation are the Henrietta modular sofas and benches, bringing comfort, flexibility, and plenty of personality to the space. The 2-seater sofas create relaxed areas to sit and unwind, while the modular benches can be easily moved around to suit anything from quiet study to group catch-ups.

The seating was combined with Indigo 2-seater tables and Dasher flip-top tables, giving students plenty of practical surfaces for laptops, notebooks, or coffee cups. Their clean, modern look blends seamlessly into the interior, and the flip-top tables make it easy to reconfigure the space for events or more casual get-togethers.

To break up the open layout without closing it off, we added Briscoe Bespoke Screens. These help define different zones and give a bit of privacy, while still keeping the space light, open, and easy to move through.

We also made sure the space works for everyday student needs by installing Pelican power unit towers throughout the area. With charging points close at hand, students can plug in and stay connected wherever they choose to sit.

The finished Students’ Union feels fresh, welcoming, and full of energy. Every detail was chosen with students in mind, creating a space that’s easy to use, flexible, and naturally encourages people to spend time there – whether they are studying, socialising, or doing a bit of both.
