Mareida is a bold new addition to central London’s dining scene — not just a restaurant, but a journey into the rich, underexplored world of Chilean cuisine. Over a year in the making, the team behind Mareida set out to create something truly special: a space where food, culture, and design come together to tell a story that spans the Andes.

To make that vision a reality, they knew the furniture had to do more than just look good. It needed to feel right — to echo the textures, warmth, and authenticity of the Chilean landscape, while offering comfort and style that would transform every part of the experience. Sustainability, craftsmanship, and atmosphere were key, and every detail had to support the story they were telling.

At Inside Out Contracts, we were thrilled to team up with Mareida to help bring their vision to life. Our role was to provide the design-led furniture that would not only look beautiful but also support the atmosphere they were creating. We introduced our Confetti side chairs and bar stools, made from FSC-certified solid ash wood, and they quickly became standout features in the space.

With their smooth curves, comfortable design, and open-pore lacquer finish, these pieces add both warmth and character. They sit perfectly alongside Mareida’s striking interiors — think dramatic Chilean rock formations and a bar carved from native stone — creating a space that feels earthy, intimate, and truly transportive.

The result? A restaurant where every detail, right down to the furniture, plays a part in telling a bigger story. Mareida isn’t just a place to eat — it’s a cultural experience, and we’re proud to have helped shape the setting that makes it so memorable.
