Maxims, renowned as one of the world’s premier gaming clubs, has a deserved reputation of excellence. The glamorous 19th Century building is based in the heart of Kensington, and its eclectic restaurant boasts an array of international cuisine, vintage champagnes, and one of London’s finest whiskey collections.

Following a multi-million pound refurbishment, Maxims now offers a warm and intimate setting with lavish styling and opulent comfort, with a welcoming atmosphere which seeks to entice patrons from all over the world. The project, arranged by Julian Taylor Design Associates, saw Inside Out Contracts working closely with the client to create the luxurious ambience experienced at Maxims, supplying both armchairs and side chairs to the venue.

The chairs were traditionally manufactured in Italy, featuring brass stud details. A solid beachwood frame in dark walnut was used for the framework of the classic Belgrade chairs, which were then upholstered in beautiful Muirhead leather selected by the client.

Crest leather and luxurious velvet were used on both the Sanderson lounge chairs, and the Sanderson side chairs, offering a variety of luxury textures and finishes that would fit in seamlessly with the style of Maxims’ elaborate design. Each individual fabric was carefully chosen to compliment the ornate Parisian styled building, which collaborates effortlessly with the evolutionary modern twist of London.
