The Akeman Inn by Oakman Inns is located in a former disused farmhouse and provides the perfect canvas for an interior that features a contemporary design edge, offering elegance and style with homeliness and comfort. The refurbished Akeman Inn features some pub-classic upholstered pieces along with new edgy dining chairs such as the Caddie and Vienna. Most of the furniture is stained to a dark walnut brown and upholstered in deep red and forest green leather, setting the cosy, warm tone for the restaurant. Table tops have been treated to give a slightly aged look, creating a homely, lived-in feel, coinciding with the solid oak Nordic stools and traditional Chester sofas.
