The Orangery at the Angel Inn, Bowness, is a new dining area for the luxury Lakeland Inn. Offering a relaxed dining setting to complement the Angel Inn’s main restaurant, the Orangery features soft upholstered chairs set within a glass conservatory setting. The teal coloured walls contrast eloquently with the orange and walnut finished pieces, whilst a traditional wingback chair upholstered with the British Flag adds character and pays homage to the Inn’s rich history.
Previously working with Tom Brown Interiors for the Angel Inn's restaurant and bar area, Inside Out Contracts once again worked with the luxury Inn to deliver a new dining area complete with a new interior scheme. Following the brief, Inside Out Contracts supplied both dining tables and chairs, accompanied by several upholstered lounge chairs to emphasise the relaxed setting.
The Cannes side and armchairs upholstered in a woven rust orange fabric provide the basis for the room’s dining functionality and new colour scheme, enriched by the dark timber frames. The Betta square and round tables feature a unique timber base, stained in walnut to complement the Cannes chairs and creates a cohesive dining collection.
Varying lounge chair styles from the Scandinavian style Garbo to the traditional Holmes wingback chair offer character and a necessary contrast in style. The Garbo lounge chair features a button back detail and has been upholstered in a labyrinth-like pattern, fusing an art deco panache with Scandinavian appeal. Meanwhile, the Holmes wingback chair has been especially upholstered with a British Flag following the client’s aspiration to include a distinctive aspect for the Inn’s new area.
