Greenwich Student Union

We were thrilled to work with Greenwich Students’ Union to transform their space into a vibrant, functional, and visually engaging environment. The project focused on creating a versatile interior that caters to student life - whether studying, socializing, or collaborating - while reflecting a contemporary and welcoming aesthetic.

At the heart of the revamp are the Henrietta modular sofas and benches, which brought flexibility, comfort, and style to the union. The 2-seater modular sofas provide an inviting lounge area with bold, colorful upholstery that enlivens the space, while the modular benches, available in 1- and 2-seater configurations, allow for dynamic arrangements to suit different needs. Their adaptability means the furniture can easily accommodate individual study, small group work, or larger gatherings, making the space as functional as it is visually striking.

To complement the seating, we introduced Indigo 2-seater tables and Dasher flip-top tables, providing practical surfaces for study sessions, coffee breaks, or collaborative activities. The clean, contemporary design of these tables fits seamlessly with the overall interior, while their practical features, like the flip-top mechanism, allow the space to be reconfigured effortlessly for events or casual gatherings.

The installation of Briscoe bespoke screens added a thoughtful layer of privacy and zoning, subtly defining areas within the open-plan layout without obstructing the flow of light or movement. These screens enhance the spatial experience, making the union more versatile and comfortable for its diverse users.

To ensure the space meets the modern demands of connectivity, Pelican power unit towers were strategically placed throughout the area, providing accessible charging points that support the technological needs of students. This integration of practical functionality alongside aesthetic appeal exemplifies our approach to creating interiors that are both beautiful and user-focused.

The result is a completely revitalized Students’ Union that feels fresh, energetic, and inviting. Every piece of furniture was selected not only for its quality and design but also for its ability to transform the space into a hub of student activity. The bold modular sofas and benches, versatile tables, and bespoke functional elements collectively elevate the interior, creating a setting that is inspiring, adaptable, and entirely aligned with the needs of the university community.
