Taka, Marylebone
Taka has opened its second London site in 2020, "bringing a bit of Japan to Marylebone". It focuses on Japanese cuisine and its decor reflects that same minimalistic approach.
The restaurant stretches across two floors with parasols decorating the simple wood-panelled walls and oak furniture matching that aesthetic.
Yam bar stools in black lacquered wood sit up against the bar and Nude armchairs and Tribeca side chairs are arranged with Solid Oak and Iroko table tops that sit on bespoke and axis table bases.
The Axis table bases are cleverly crafted so that if they need to be stored away they can slot together to save space; this makes the space highly functional.
