This durable chair was the first furniture piece commercially available to utilise the technique of moulding veneers in three-dimensions to create a solid shell in this manner. The 3-D design gives the chair a comfortable seat and sense of lightness. This cutting edge construction process allows a reduction in the thickness of the veneer to half that which would normally be used. This unique chair has also won numerous design awards and is exhibited in the famous Museum of Modern Art in New York as recognition of its innovation.

The Gubi bar stool is available with a four-leg wood base which comes in oak, American walnut and black stained beech or with a sledge base in chrome and black painted steel. We can offer it in two heights be combined with a HiRek, veneer and upholstered seat.
