Introducing the Hemp stool, marking a design with a shell constructed from a distinctive biomaterial. The materials utilised—hemp and resin—are entirely biological, plant-based, and recyclable. This innovation represents a milestone in sustainable furniture design.

The residual fibers from Hemp processing serve as the raw material for the Hemp's shell. Hemp offers significant advantages: it grows without artificial fertilisers or pesticides, also requiring minimal waste. Moreover, hemp is exceptionally strong and absorbs CO2, resulting in a negative CO2 footprint for its production—more CO2 is absorbed than emitted.
Post-harvest, the fibers are extracted and combed at the Hempflax factory, yielding a thick, natural brown mat that forms the chair's foundation. Plantics' innovative binding agent is then used to press this mat into the desired stool shape.
The uniqueness of this stool lies in its recyclability. The chair can be shredded and reformed without the need for additional chemicals or substances. The individual components are designed for easy separation and reuse after their initial lifecycle. Despite their complete biodegradability, it is not decomposed, as this would be wasteful and unnecessary. Instead, the shell is shredded and re-pressed, maintaining the same high quality through multiple cycles.
