Bedford Swan Hotel

Less than an hour from London, The Bedford Swan Hotel sits on the banks of the beautiful Great River Ouse in Bedford. Blending a contemporary interior and exterior, with original 18th-century architecture, the hotel offers a stunning location for leisure stays, business travel, weddings, and conferences.

Working closely with the hotel's interior design team, we provided furniture for the outdoor terrace, that complements the character of the hotel while meeting the practical demands of a busy hospitality venue. The space needed to be flexible enough to transition seamlessly between everyday dining, weddings, private events, and live music evenings, without compromising the overall design vision.

To bring this to life, we supplied the Iroko Slatted Table Top paired with the Marlow Bistro Table Base. The natural warmth and texture of the iroko wood enhance's the terrace's inviting atmosphere, while the Marlow Bistro Base provides a durable, understated foundation designed for commercial hospitality. Together, they create a timeless furniture solution that is easy to reconfigure as the terrace adapts to different events and guest experiences.

The end result is a terrace that is a welcoming and versatile outdoor space that supports the hotel's varied hospitality offering while remaining true to its visual identity.
