Paddy's Sportsbook - Hippodrome

With all the excitement of a live match and the style of a premium casino, the Hippodrome Casino in Leicester Square is now home to Paddy’s Sportsbook – the first venue of its kind in Europe. Designed by Third Mind Design and brought to life with bespoke furniture supplied by Inside Out Contracts, the space combines the energy of a sports bar with the thrill of the casino floor.

To meet the brief, Inside Out supplied a curated selection of bespoke and signature pieces, each chosen to elevate both comfort and atmosphere. The Tulum Bar Stool, with its statement petal-like backrest and rich upholstery, brings character and a sense of luxury to the bar area, while the Eudora Bar Stool and Arabian Bar Stool introduce sculptural silhouettes that echo the bold, playful identity of Paddy Power. Together, these seating options create dynamic zones that cater to both lively socialising and more intimate gatherings.

The Orleans Chair provides relaxed lounge seating with its plush, wrap-around form, ideal for guests settling in for the duration of a match. These are paired with striking tables that anchor the interior’s design scheme. The Saltie Bespoke Square Table Tops, crafted in walnut with a distinctive starburst veneer, and the marble-topped options mounted on Typha and Lasso Table Bases, add depth and sophistication to the space. Brass detailing throughout ties the furniture back to the Hippodrome’s luxurious setting, while Crib 5+ fabrics ensure durability and safety for high-traffic use.

The mix of textures – from velvet and leather upholstery to stone and wood – creates a layered, welcoming environment. This variety softens the casino edge with warmth and tactility, ensuring the interior feels both premium and inviting. Each element is tailored to enhance the flow of the venue: high-energy bar stools encourage social buzz, while private booth seating and lounge chairs offer a more intimate, comfortable experience.
