Far removed from your soulless coffee-chain pit stop, the recently opened café Stir Cambridge prides itself on community, dubbed as a social hub for the neighbourhood.
Characterised by a light-filled Nordic style interior, Inside Out Contracts worked the cafe's brand designers Mystery Design to create a space with a cosy and friendly feel. Combining facets of modernity together with ethical leadership, bespoke sofas and tables handmade in our UK workshop make up the interior, alongside a nominated collection of Italian chairs and outdoor furniture.
The spoke-style Thea and Lalia 2 ranges of bar stools and side chairs finished in white, grey and natural beech supply the foundation for the café’s interior scheme; offset by orange crockery and striking geometric upholstered lounges. The bespoke lounges, sofas and tables are all traditionally handmade in our UK workshop using FSC European beech wood, with the seating upholstered in a range of complementary fabrics according to the client’s brief.
Providing an outdoor lounge area, the exterior Round lounge chairs feature generous and curvaceous seats to accompany the Yard collection of side tables in sage, white and black. Finished in smooth aluminium, these exterior furnishings are expertly made to be weather resistant and allow coffee-goers no excuse not to linger.
