Horwood House Hotel is nestled in the heart of the beautiful Buckinghamshire countryside and combines updated traditional comfort and warmth. Horwood’s new bespoke spa has been developed at the heart of the hotel after undergoing a £5.5 million refurbishment, with views and access to the idyllic landscaped grounds. Built in 1911, the beautiful Grade II listed Manor House is the focal point, and the birthplace of the famous gardener, Percy Thrower. Steeped in history and views, this is the perfect place to relax.
Inside Out Contracts worked alongside ICA design, to deliver on a brief that specified modern design, luxury materials that would complement a historical venue. The main restaurant is breathtakingly light, with plants hanging down as a central bar feature, to give a fresh oasis feel. The natural leather stools complement the colour of the venue's many wooden beams. This colour combination is seen even more dramatically with the use of 2 large leather sofas with beige, orange, and grey cushions which are used next to complementing tartan fabric stools. Thus giving a modern twist on a heritage venue.
