Everyone is champing at the bit to get their exterior space ready and appealing for guests. Here we have some tips for getting your exterior space looking shipshape for visitors.
Tip 1 | Prepare for All Weather
There are various ways to prepare for the weather, especially in locations where it is a bit less predictable than others. For example, our Outdoor Pods are a perfect way to enclose guests whilst still keeping them outdoors, they protect from cold and heavy rains and provide a buffer for the wind. For something less permanent our range of parasols provide shade from the sun but also an umbrella for lighter rains whilst making each area a distinctive spot.
Tip 2 | Think Warm
The evenings particularly get a little bit chillier as the sun goes down. Why not keep guests nice and toasty with our range of heaters. There are options from floor-standing, to table-standing, to wall-mounted. Fire pits are also a great way to create a bit of ambience.
Tip 3 | Shine Bright
Whilst we're on the subject of sunsets, there is nothing greater for creating an atmosphere than a bit of ambient lighting. We have a range of outdoor suitable lights to consider when looking for that exterior warm glow.
Tip 4 | Stack it to Store it
For smaller outdoor areas and multi-function locations there are great options when it comes to furniture. We have a range of pieces that can be stacked and folded which result in space-saving and easy storage.
Tip 5 | Keep Comfy
Just because you're outside doesn't mean you have to stick to metal and plastic (though we have some fabulous design-led pieces in those categories.) We also supply outdoor furniture with cushions and upholstery to make you that extra bit comfortable whilst still being weather resistant. There are also various woods that are suitable for outdoors, such as teak which changes from a golden-honey colour to a silvery patina.
