Marble top with Metal Edge
Updating the already luxe material of marble, metal edging also known as metal banding is where a metal strip is placed around the table top.

Metal edging also known as metal banding is where a metal strip is placed around the table top.
There is a subtle join on either side with 4 discreet screws holding the metal edge detail in position. The metal edge is then screwed into place on the underside of the top with an L-style fixing to conceal the extra screws. All fixings conceal the marble's supporting bonding board so that you are never screwing directly into the marble itself.
Different metal edge profiles available such as:
edge-only (without top lip)
straight (as pictured in thumbnail)
rounded
round rib (only available in brass and stainless steel).
