GAIL's Hammersmith

GAIL's Bakery, Hammersmith

Bringing warmth, character and a sense of community to West London, the newly opened GAIL’s Hammersmith offers a welcoming space where thoughtful design meets the everyday ritual of enjoying good coffee and freshly baked treats.

The interiors strike a considered balance between industrial character and natural warmth. Exposed structural elements, rich red tiling, timber finishes and deep green accents create a distinctive setting, while warm lighting and carefully layered materials lend the space an inviting, relaxed atmosphere. From a quick morning coffee to a leisurely catch-up, the design encourages customers to pause, settle in and make themselves at home.

Furniture plays an integral role in bringing this vision to life. Inside Out Contracts supplied a carefully selected combination of Bruno Armchairs, Old School Chairs, Brera Bar Stools and Bruno Benches, alongside bespoke tables and benches designed to complement the interior scheme.

The rich, earthy tones of the seating introduce depth and warmth, sitting naturally alongside the timber surfaces, green finishes and textured architectural details. The Bruno Armchairs provide a comfortable place to unwind, while the Old School Chairs bring a familiar, understated character to the dining areas. Brera Bar Stools add a practical yet considered seating option, and Bruno Benches create opportunities for relaxed, communal dining.

Complementing the furniture collection, the bespoke tables and benches help bring cohesion to the space, balancing functionality with the bakery’s distinctive aesthetic. The mix of seating styles and shared surfaces creates a natural rhythm throughout the interior, accommodating different ways of enjoying the space while maintaining a consistent design language.

Every element works together to create an environment that feels both contemporary and familiar. Through a thoughtful combination of commercial furniture, bespoke joinery and complementary finishes, Inside Out Contracts has helped shape a setting that feels as good to spend time in as it looks.
