As 2025 draws to a close, we can’t help but look back with amazement.
It’s a feeling we know is shared by everyone working in hospitality, design and commercial interiors. That moment when you pause and realise just how much creativity and collaboration have happened in a single year.
This year has been one of the most transformational chapters in our journey so far. The year has been a vibrant blur of restaurant openings, hotel refurbishments, bar and cinema launches, bespoke furniture builds, innovative new materials, sustainability breakthroughs, and the constant spark that comes from working alongside brilliant designers, visionary brands and talented architects.
From global hospitality projects to Milan-inspired trend spotting, from early concepts to fully realised spaces buzzing with life, 2025 reminded us why thoughtful, well-made contract furniture is the soul of every exceptional commercial interior.
To our incredible clients, designers, architects, suppliers and team - thank you.
Your ideas, curiosity, energy and collaboration shaped every project, every sketch, every sample box and every creative brainstorm. It’s been a joy to build this year together.
2025 delivered many incredible moments, but one stands head and shoulders above the rest.
Receiving The King’s Award for Enterprise in International Trade was not just a highlight, it was a once-in-a-lifetime milestone and a moment of immense pride for our entire team.
This honour recognises not only our international growth, but the way we have achieved it: through unwavering dedication to quality, meaningful relationships, and a commitment to thoughtful, beautifully design-led contract furniture.
The award reinforced what drives us every day, which is a mixture of supporting hospitality and commercial designers with furniture that blends true craftsmanship, beautiful materials and creates the stunning end result. It’s a reminder that when great design meets exceptional service, amazing things happen.
We are still smiling.
2025 marked one of our most vibrant years on the global stage. Our furniture travelled far and wide, shaping hospitality spaces across the world and showcasing the same craftsmanship, comfort and creativity that define every Inside Out project.
From the energy of the US hospitality scene to the distinctive character of boutique hotels and restaurants overseas, our international work continued to grow in scale, ambition and diversity. Each project brought new challenges, exciting collaborations and endless inspiration, and every one of them reminded us why global design feels so rewarding.
2025 saw hospitality interiors embrace natural materials, organic shapes, and warm, earthy tones. These trends reflected across some of our most exciting projects. We also saw deep dramatic reds creating impactful interiors.
If one sector truly shone this year, it was hospitality.
Across restaurants, bars, hotel lounges and cafés, we saw designers lean boldly into natural materials, organic shapes, soft curves and warm, earthy tones. It’s a look that defined so many of 2025’s most memorable spaces.
Rich, dramatic reds also made a striking appearance, giving interiors a sense of depth, glamour and atmosphere.
These design movements came to life beautifully in some of our most exciting hospitality projects of the year.
One of our favourite moments this year was bringing a little slice of Milan directly to our clients through our Milan in a Van campaign. We packed the most exciting new materials and product innovations and delivered them straight to our clients studios, showrooms and project teams across the UK.
And the reaction? Absolutely brilliant.
Designers loved getting hands-on with the newest surface materials - exploring textures, colours and compositions that are shaping the next phase of commercial interiors. A few samples quickly became the stars of the show.
These materials didn’t just spark conversation, they sparked ideas. From restaurants exploring statement table tops to hotels seeking sustainable, design-led surfaces, the response was proof that designers are more excited than ever to experiment with innovative, eco-conscious materials that combine beauty, durability and a real story.
And the best part? This is only the beginning. Milan continues to inspire us and we can’t wait to bring even more new materials into your hands in 2026.
2025 wasn’t just about the projects – it was about the moments that brought us together, sparked ideas, and reminded us why we love what we do.
From inspiring factory visits to Macmillan fundraising, and soaking up trends at Clerkenwell Design Week, it’s been a year full of creativity and energy.
And it wasn’t all work – pub outings, spontaneous lunches, endless debates over samples, and the Halloween chaos kept the office buzzing.
These moments, big and small, shaped our year and fuelled our collaboration – the heart of Inside Out.
A huge thank you to everyone who made 2025 special: our clients, designers, architects, suppliers, makers, and our brilliant team who pour passion into every project.
2025 has been a year filled with craftsmanship, collaboration, new materials, bold ideas, and unforgettable project moments. It’s been exciting, energising, and full of the kind of creativity that reminds us why great design matters.
And the best part? We’re just getting started!
